Some here at The Concerned Citizen think that its time for Mayor Bowser and our city officials to get serious about violent crime in D.C. and consider reinstitution of the Death Penalty as an option for punishment in extreme cases.
Yesterday, D.C. police officers found and arrested Jasper Spires; the young man pictured in this article, who they say stabbed former student government president, 24 year old Kevin Joseph Sutherland, on the Fourth of July, at the Gallaudet Metro station. Spires was subsequently charged with “Murder While Armed”.
